A. Signing up is very easy and free of charge. Click the sign up link above. Fill in all the information. Once you submit the information you’ll be able to login as a member to update and make changes to your listings at any time.
Q. How can I get my website to be noticed?
A. Most search engines look for keywords, descriptions, and titles for their search criteria. A great way to be noticed is to have a complete website. Follow the steps through the listing wizard and this will enhance your chances of being noticed. Some search engines have fees that assure your location and it doesn't hurt to look into those.
Q. Can my site be linked into google or yahoo, etc.?
A. Because we don't own these search engines its hard for us to say if your site can or cannot be linked. Most search engines look for complete websites to add to their search engine. Follow the listing wizard to help you to create the best site possible for your business.
Q. Why is my birthday necessary to sign up?
A. Your birthday is not required to sign up. We only ask that to create a age range for members profiles and to help match your search criteria.
Q. Why do you ask what sex I am?
A. It helps to identify your needs when searching certain criteria. For example some companies are looking for women business owners and this helps to identify gender.
Q. If I don't remember the referral number can I give you the members name?
A. Referral numbers are necessary due to the fact that some members have the same similar names and to appropriately apply credit to the right person the number is individual for each member and gives the proper credit.
Q. How come when I finish the wizard my site doesn't come up on the search engine?
A. Our system updates itself every twenty-four hours. If you have a complete and active listing then it should come up. It is very important to activate listing in order for it to appear on the search engine.
Q. How can I get the best advertisement for my business?
A. Most important is to have a complete listing on your website and information page. Listing yourself under all five categories gives you full opportunity in each area selected. On each page try to have complete and detailed information. This prompts the search engine to pick up on several keywords improving your availability to be noticed.

Q. How can my website be reached from the internet?
A. When giving your customers your custom website address, you give them the following link www.blackxchange.net/memberID and it will take them directly to your individual website.
Q. What if I have my own website can I still be linked to BlackXchange.net?
A. Yes you can type your website address on any of the pages with the listing wizard and hyperlink it to your domain website.
Q. How do I get a logo?
A. A great way to get a logo is to call a local design company. They usually specialize in custom logos. If you are having difficulty locating a design company, you can contact our office and we can create one for you (logos are for an additional fee).
Q. Can I customize my website?
A. At this time all websites have the same format. Our design team are currently working on a program that will allow you to customize your web page. Stay tuned for this, it will be coming soon.
Q. I forgot my username/password
A. If you forget your username and/or password, click on “forgot username/password” under member login link above. Enter the email address that you provided under your listing. Our system will automatically send your username/password to that email.
Q. What if I don’t want to be listed anymore?
A. You can activate or deactivate youir listing at anytime under “login members area” and selecting activate or deactivate.
Q. Why aren’t my images uploading?
A. To increase the speed of our web site, we limit file size to less than two (2) megabytes and your file(s) must be a JPEG, GIF or BMP.
Q. I like the concept, how can I help promote?
A. Any help is greatly appreciated. If interested in helping promote, we can provide you with flyers, T-shirts and other promotion items. The best help is just by telling ten people to sign up.
